Registration

Please e-mail patientadvocates@asco.org for information on Patient Advocate registration for the Annual Meeting.

Patient advocacy organizations may register up to 4 representatives to attend the ASCO Annual Meeting at a reduced rate of $295 per person by the early registration deadline of April 25, and $370 per person beginning April 26 (there is no on-site registration for patient advocates).

This reduced registration category is reserved exclusively for patient advocates and is not intended for medical professionals. As such, registration at the patient advocate rate cannot be completed online.  Individuals interested in registering under this category may contact patientadvocates@asco.org.  Individuals must meet ASCO criteria that has been established for this category* and may also be asked to provide curriculum vitae or bio-sketch. Individuals registered under this category are not eligible to receive continuing education credit for their attendance at the Meeting. A ticketed session package is available to individuals registered at the patient advocate rate, for an additional fee.

*The discounted registration rate for patient advocates is reserved exclusively for people who work or volunteer for national not-for-profit patient advocacy organizations that demonstrate a charitable mission, are engaged in patient advocacy activities, and provide programs, services, information, and support for people with cancer. Organizations must have a non-professional membership and must not offer CME or scientific programs for professionals.
