Abstract Changes or Withdrawals

Changes
First Authors may request corrections to rectify errors (e.g., typos, misspellings) within abstract submissions. Requests must be submitted by Thursday, April 12, 2012 by 11:59 PM EST.

  • Updates to original data will not be permitted, as changes are permissible only for the correction of errors.
  • Include the abstract ID, title, and an explanation of the changes to be made to the original text.  

  Requests for changes must be sent by the First Author to abstracts@asco.org.

Withdrawals
If a First Author chooses to withdraw his or her abstract for any reason, a request must be submitted by Thursday, April 12, 2012 by 11:59 PM EST.

  • Any abstract withdrawal request received after this date will be considered on a case-by-case basis and cannot be assured removal from the 2012 ASCO Annual Meeting Proceedings

  Requests for withdrawals may be sent by the First Author to abstracts@asco.org.
